Our Vision for Community
The Knights of Columbus mission is to empower Catholic men to live their faith at home, parish, work, and community, guided by the core principles of Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. Founded in 1882 to provide charity and financial security, they serve the Church, defend the family, and support the vulnerable, often summarized by the phrase "Where there's a need, there's a Knight".
The Foundation of the Knights
The Knights of Columbus is founded on four core principles that guide its charitable work and fraternal mission: Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism. These principles, rooted in Catholic faith and social teaching, compel members to support families, parishes, communities, and nations through service.
